In order to achieve the mechanical power at the cogeneration plant from Coca Cola Ploiesti, piston engines were used, and the recovery system is represented by the hot water recovery boiler. A portion of the recovered heat from the burned gases was also used to acquire the cold in the absorption installations, resulting in "tri-generation".
